Basuki to Design Sidewalk Into Disabled-Friendly

Jakarta Governor Basuki T. Purnama assessed, all this time the capital city's sidewalk is not yet designed to be disabled-friendly, especially guiding block for blind people or known as tuna netra which is still now inadequate.

He explained that Jakarta residents like to walk. However, the existing sidewalk is less comfortable. In future, his party will widening some sidewalks, like on Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Thamrin.
